New to C and need help

I am in my first programming class, and am on my last program of the semester and I need a LOT of help. I have bascially taught myself thus far and well, am not doing so well. My professor gave the class a skeleton code for a scrabble program. I need to write 2 functions and edit a third. The first one is when given the tiles the user has and the word they wish to make, the function needs to determine if the user has the letters and return 1 if they do and 0 if they dont. I have no clue how to begin this. Can anyone help me?

hi,

try to post the code u have come up with, so that its easier to understand what is that u exactly need to do.......

anyways for now, u can have a function thats called everytime a user wants to do a word.... send the funtion the alphabets of the word the user wants to do and also make the list of alphabets the user has, as a global variable... in the fuction try to find if all the alphabets he needs to form the word is present in the list, if present return 1 else return 0.....

incase u need more help, try to post the entire question.....then, i can give u the program
