What is the function header for a function that receives two integers and returns their sum to the main. The two integers sent to the fucntion will not be changed in the function.

What is the correct Function prototype for a function that contains no arguments?

Which is a the prototype of a function that receives two integer arguments, multiplies them by 3 and returns the tripled value in the original variables?

What is the function header (first ine of code in the definition) for a function that receives two integers and checks to see if they are positive.. if not the function will convert them to a positive number and return them to the main in the same variable.

1) it's going to return an int and you're going to pass it two different ints.

2)depends on what it's doing (printing/calculating/passing...) - is there more to this question?

How would you go about solving these?

1.) int addIt(int &n1, int &n2) or int addIt(int n1, int n2)

2.) void tryIt() or int tryIt(); or void tryIt; or int tryIt;

Well there you go.

The rest should be pretty easy then, just more of the same, but post again if any stump you!

Start out easy. 2 is all. You dont' know what it is returning, just that it contains no parameters. It might just return an number - which would be weird, but hey, that's why they have thedailywtf.com - in which case it would return an int, or it might just print something, in which case it would be a void declaration. If it returns a decimal, it would have a double declaration.

For 1 - do you know what the '&' operator does? If not, check this out - you'll get the answer pretty quickly:
