CC: Fatal error in ccfe: Segmentation Fault

While compiling a C++ code I am getting the following error :

CC -c -I/opt/iona/artix/2.0/include -I/opt/iona/asp/6.0/include -I/opt/ar/api63/include -I//var/tmp/vidya/aotscommon/include -I//var/tmp/coe/coesup2.0b17/include -I/opt/oracle/product/9.2.0.5.0/rdbms/demo -I/opt/oracle/product/9.2.0.5.0/rdbms/public -I/opt/oracle/product/9.2.0.5.0/plsql/public -I/opt/oracle/product/9.2.0.5.0/network/public -I/opt/oracle/product/9.2.0.5.0/precomp/public -w -G +p -KPIC -xarch=v8 -mt -D_REENTRANT -DAR_STRICT_ANSI -o WmsFS_wsdlTypes.o WmsFS_wsdlTypes.cxx
CC: Fatal error in ccfe: Segmentation Fault
*** Error code 1
make: Fatal error: Command failed for target `WmsFS_wsdlTypes.o'
concorde:pagadala: CC: Fatal error in ccfe: Segmentation Fault

Any idea how to resolve it ?

This is a compiler fault but you have not said what compiler you are using.

I would guess that you will need to simplify the file that was being compiled at the time of the fault (i.e. split it into 2 files). This doesn't fix the fault but works around it.

Alternitively them may be a particularly complex expression causing the problem, in which case simplify the expression by writing it over several lines.

hi
you are using wrong compiler to compile cpp programme. you have to use g++ compiler to compile the cpp programmes. its as of my knowledge. cc is only a c compiler. check it out once ... on google search.

The Makefile is as following :

CXX= CC

CXXFLAGS= -I$(ART_CXX_INCLUDE_DIR) \

so is it to be changed to g++ or G++ ?
