Sort Binary File, Search and Print

Hey, I'm a begginer C programming, I am writing a program which takes package details works out the necessary price, then save the Customer name and details to a binary file.

I have done all the above and it works fine however i am having a bit of trouble when it comes to retrieving the data i save within the file.

What i need to do next is Sort the file (Buble), Create a search function which can pull up customers by transaction code and finaly print the details to screen, and i dont mind telling you i've hit a bit of a dead end (ultra idiot i know).

Can anyone give me a hand?

Note: All customer details are being stored in a structure and saved to the file.

Edit:

Here is the Save function i am using:

void savetofile()
{

char filename[20];

strcpy(filename,"Test");
FILE *fp;

if ( (fp = fopen(filename, "wb")) == NULL)
{

printf("cannot open file\n");

exit(1);

}

fwrite( trans, sizeof(struct save), 100, fp );
fclose( fp );

}

Sorry would have added to above post but it would not let me edit for some reason.
