void umg()

Hello,
I have a question, what does void umg mean in this C++ program code?

void umg(x){
char a[]=x;
for(n=0,a[n]!='\0';n++)
for(i=n-1;i>=0; i--){
cout <<zeile [i];
}

it is defining the function umg that doesn't return anything. There should be a type before the x and I wouldn't expect this to compile
