cannot get the output

Im a beginner of c++ programming language ,i got some problem.. every time i compile my project it doesnt shows the output it just shows the compiling process and nothing happens and returns to my project...please help..

a. don't hijack someone elses thread start one of your own

b. generally a compiler giving no output is a good since asit normally means compiled without error or warnings.

that means what u have compiled should be execute urself, or it is only something like a library, a dll.
