A usual problem in most of the busy airports is to tackle
the air traffic efficiently. For this, the most important
factor to tackle is time. The times of all the flights are
already decided. But the problems occur when:
• There is delay in a flight
• Introduction of a new flight in the schedule
• Emergency landing of any flight
• Delay in the arriving flight, etc…
Our program of air time management will deal with this kinds of problem.
One complication is to find a new slot for the delayed
flight, for a new flight, for a emergency landing or for
any delayed arriving flight, etc… from the schedule & if no
slot is there then slightly change the timing of other
flights temporarily for the delayed flight & permanently
for a new flight. The timings of the other flights can be
change on the basis of some factors like the destination of
flight, distance of the destination, time gapes between
flights, etc…
STRATEGY:
(1) Shifting of the timings of flights on the basis of the free gap
between two flights & the time which they could cover up while their
journey.
(2) If the destination reaching of time of the flight is getting change
then the program will ask for the phone call to other airport for a new
arriving slot.
REPRESENTATION:
The schedules of the flights are already updated in a file. We take the
input:
For delayed flights:
Name of the flight and the new timing of the flight
For a new flight:
Name of the flight, destination, distance of destination, time of flight etc…
&all the details which are these for other flights.
