Looping Problem

my partener and I are trying to loop this program from emaghero but isn't giving us the right output we are looking for. Any thoughts? we want to be able to keep entering numbers in the output...

So far, it looks like you only have one function call to f(double), then a while loop printing 1 2 3 4 5. Did you want to have a while loop to continually process numbers into f(double)? You could do this by having the user input inside a while loop, as follows:

cin >> num
while (num != -999) {
   cout << "f(" << num << ") = " << f(num) << endl;
   cout << "Enter a new value, or -999 to stop: ";
   cin >> num;
}

This will continue to process numbers in f(double) until -999 is entered.

Or are you asking something else?

Thank you, that what I was looking for. I had just repeated the enter z part and also worked but this way is much better. i thank you again
