Very stupid question

Total newbie, looking to enrol at uni next year and met lecturers today,

They teach in C++ for the last two years but start of in something they referred to as C smart?

Is this how it is written? They mentioned that tutorials can be downloaded if so from where?

Thanks and sorry to be such a dumb a**

I've no idea what you are talking about. A web search suggests that if you live in California they may be talking about some sort of technology in schools initative.

Are you sure they didn't say C# (C sharp)?

I read that you don't need .cs files to deploy but I suppose if you are trying to reconstruct someone's work, you will need these files. Is that correct?
