Compile Error

Trying to compile and get this error: "In function 'void decode_line()' : syntax error before ' ) ' token"

Does this mean ive missplaced a bracket?

Does this mean ive missplaced a bracket?
That's a possible reason... But to be sure, I'd have to see the code

In such cases the error is either at the line pointed to by the compiler or a missing semi-colon or missing paranthesis or braces before the line pointed by the compiler.

If you can paste the part of code may be someone can help...
