vector find_if

can some clever guru help please.
I am porting some C++ 6.0 projects to C++ VS2005 and find_if no longer exists in vector, i am not sure what to do. i am only at begginer level so please dont get too complicated.

this is the code with the find_if in.

(lnArrayRowId = (find_if<vector<smartptr< JobBalances> >::iterator, EqualTo<JobBalances,String,8> > (global->EMPBAL.begin(),global->EMPBAL.end(),EqualTo<JobBalances,String,8> (global->ELDER_currentStruct->elder_element_ref)) - global->EMPBAL.begin()));

i did consider writing the find_if but i dont seem to have access to the iterator.
