Hi,

I am new to visual c++ and I am trying to compile a Decoder project

tried to add a compiled static library to it. I ended up with the

c:\documents and
settings\uday\desktop\decode\src\decode\decode_thr eads.c(504) : error

This FAQ

http://www.parashift.com/c++-faq-lit...t.html#faq-5.8

tells you how to post questions about code that doesn't work. You got
point 7 - the compiler messages - which is important, but without the
code that produced the messages it is impossible to know what the
problem is. Read the guidelines in the FAQ and post a *minmal*
*complete* code example and you should get lots of help.
