Play Sound Files over Medem on Linux

Hi
I was wondering if anyone knew how to play a wav file (or similar
format) over a modem in Linux within a C++ program of couse.

Maybe, but it's completely off-topic here (see
http://www.parashift.com/c++-faq-lit....html#faq-5.9), where
we discuss the C++ language proper, not arbitrary applications of it.
