XML library

No sure it's not an off-topic here (in that case please tell me the right
newsgroup), but is there more C++-friendly library for XML processing than
implementations of DOM? I think there must have been attemps to create an
XML library with STL-compatible iterators, for example.

A question about C++ is on-topic here if there's no better newsgroup or
forum for it. So requests for a platform-neutral library are on-topic here,
and questions about individual libraries belong on their forums.

That query lists a book, a simple library on Codeproject.com, etc.

I don't think there's a high-end library doing what you ask, because STL
integration would not gain the library much, and should be easy to add.

Try tinyxml.
