Do anyone know, How operating system is being developed ?? How it interacts with peripheral ?

Is there any code that will interact with system when it starts, just as like bootable OS disk

mmm This is my first post here and i feel this will be my home forum :)

- I asked that question to myself many times and searched and found some examples on how to write an operating system accompanied with code i'll search again and tell u some links, also u will better need to read some books about operating system to know how to program not only how to code an operating system
