Printing Different Language Characters Using Locale

Hi Everyone,

I was wondering how can I print for example chinese or arabic characters in the output stream of my program? How to know the list of characters available? How to print special characters e.g. English pound sign?

Thanks,
Mohamed A. Rabie

N.B. I am using g++ on Linux (Redhat)
