Subscript const overloading problem with visualc 7.0??

This example http://rafb.net/paste/results/YWurKV40.html

doesn't seem to work correctly under visualc 7.0.

Did anyone experienced the same problem? How did you solve it then?

I just downloaded that program as text, removed syntax errors, and it
worked fine under 7.1. Just to let you know...
