ctags URGENT please help

I am usin ctags to find links in a very complex program spread over
multiple files.I find it very difficult to return to original file. can
anyone please help me..

I tried google but i found irrelevant answers ...

Try a group dedicated to your editor. We deal with the C language here,
not all the myriads of editors people could possibly use for editing C.

You could try comp.editors, and say what editor you're using. In Emacs
it's M-*, and in vim, Ctrl-T to jump back up the tag stack.

Followup-To set to comp.editors.
