new CCSID's for z/OS C/C++

Can somone tell me how to create "own" CCSID's for use by C/C++ (ICONV).

Ignore Mr. McCormack, he's not here to help.

Until I looked it up I had no idea what a CCSID was, and I suspect most
other posters here won't either. This suggests that this isn't the right
place to pose your question. This newsgroup covers the C programming
language, not specific applications that happen to be written in C.

For questions about iconv(), comp.unix.programmer may be a better choice.
If, as my casual searches suggest, CCSID is IBM-specific, try one of the
comp.sys.ibm.* newsgroups. Be sure to check for the FAQs to learn what is
and isn't appropriate to post.
