static linkage and dynamic linkage

how would you find static linkage and dynamic linkage in a program?i mean how would you find the function is static linked or dynamically linked

Are you talking about the difference between a function in a static library and a dynamic link library (DLL)? I'm not sure that there is a way to tell, it has never been a problem for me.
