Read Txt File

Hi all, i am trying to write a program in c++ that will read a text file line by line using the get line command and then be able to break the string read up into various parts.


for example it may use the getline command to read a line "Hello World" from a file into the string word.

so now the string word = "Hello World"

after this i need a process to be able to break up hello and world into two separate strings or char arrays and then print both to screen.

eg word = "Hello World"
word 1 = "Hello"
word 2 = "World"

doesnt have to be string can be char as well. I've tried this before using char but the program always froze as if it was going to an infinate loop. Please help.

Use the find_first_of member of string to find the first space in string then copy that chunk of the string as your word and set string equal to what's left and start again.
