How to display Bitmaps?

Hallo everybody,

I know, it would be really simple question, but I don't know, what should I
do and what do I start with.

I have a pointer on a memory block with an bitmap image (Windows Bitmap
bmp), How can I now display it on my monitor? What header should I include
for it?

Thank you in advance.
