Transferring the log file over the modem using PPP

Hi Everyone,

I am writing a program to transfer a file from one
linux pc to another linux pc. I am using linux-2.4.x and pppd-2.4.2
version .

I have few queries:

How to establish a PPP Link between two systems where both are having
modem facility(56kbps) ?

Lets assume connection is established, how can the client and server
programs wait for tcp/ip packet transferring (file transfer) between
two systems.

If anybody have the scirpts and Client/server programs please mail me
to mm****@yahoo.co.in

Thank you,
Subbu

Where's the C++ question?

You should pick a more appropriate group.
