I have a cgi C++ problem.
The variable HTTP_COOKIE is always empty.
What can the cause be?
This is the worst newsgroup for that question. Questions about CGI
environmental variables will get the best answers in a newsgroup that covers
CGI, or a forum for your web server. Google to find which one (and you might
also find the answer, too!).
Some tips:
- write a test program in Ruby or Python that barfs out all the
environmental variables. Most sample CGI programs do that.
register the program and run it
- get the sample programs for your C++ CGI library (and don't write
that from scratch - use cgicc).
- drop C++ like a hot rock, and get a softer language for CGI work
