file problem

i have a text file that contains;
1#codex#yahoo#printer#*
2#mp3#adobe#gmail#*

and the code;
while(!folder.eof())
{
Box *object;
object = new Box;
folder>>object->CdNo;
cout<<"cd no:"<<object->CdNo<<endl
} ;

it prints
1 2 -842150451 -842150451 -842150451 why doesnt it stop after printing
1 and 2

I pasted the code above into my compiler and I got errors...
