object reflection

Need a good sample problem for object reflection in C++, I am using
STL Map it works fine
anybody else with a different thought, please share.

I want to achieve firing of getter and setter methods of my class
variables using string names.

I am able to achieve this by STL Map, I would like to know if there is
a better way without using Map.

Thanks.
