This question is off-topic on comp.lang.c as it concerns the workings of
a particular compiler instead of the C language itself. Please ask in a
newsgroup dedicated to your own compiler.

Not even a compiler; I'm fairly sure masm is an assembler. (It sounds
like it supports C-like header files of some sort, but that doesn't
make the question even vaguely topical.)

We must do something. This is something. Therefore, we must do this.

MASM is OT for Questions in this newsgroup about Turbo Assembler (TASM).
TASM is OT in the newsgroup as well, but please don't be doubly OT.

My new symbol: **OT (pointer to a pointer that is Off Topic)!
