Getting window coordinates

Hello everyone,

I'm looking for a way to obtain the coordinates on a previously opened
window on both Xwindow and MSwindow. Any help or hint will be highly
appreciated.

Thanks.

Hint: ISO C has no such thing. Try an X or Windows newsgroup instead.

There is no concept of a window in the c standard.

<OT>
In windows, use GetWindowRect() for the co-ords. You will need a valid HWND
to do this, you can get one using FindWindowEx()
