postgresql binding to c

I am writing MPI/PVM routines to access backend databases.i thought
about interfacing MPI with postgresql, but wondering is there an
postgresql to C interface binding that lets me do this.
ur help is highly appreciated,

I'm sorry but C does not specify such an interface. Maybe a postgress
specifies and interface for C programmers. Is there a postgress newsgroup?
