Visual c++

Im new to visual c++ and im trying to make a simple program, but its not working!!!(surprising) im going crazy over this, it has to be simple!!!

So i create a .cpp file like this one below and add this to the source folder.
All the tutorials say that this will run with no errors, but it does on mine!!

using namespace std;
int main()
{
cout << "Hello World!" << endl;
return 0;
}


Yah sure, i could just create a sample "hello world" application using the option when creating a new win32 application, ive even studied the code within the application. But it says that the above code snippet should work with no catches.. Well it give me this when i try to build and run it...

Hi!,

the problem is that you're currently creating a win32(windowed) application. Try to create a Win32 Console(not windowed) Project instead ...

Win32 Console application doest NOT need a WinMain Entry Point ...
