Log4cxx Time Zone problems

Dan
Hi,

I have recently started using log4cxx and have hit a small snag. I
am using the DailyRollingFileAppender and noticed that the rollovers
are occuring 5 hours before they are supposed to because the timezone
being used it GMT. I have tried to manually set a TZ environment
variable, but it has not solved the problem. Does anyone have a way to
resolve this issue? A possible workaround would be to create a Date
Pattern that would have rollovers occur at 5am every morning, rather
than midnight. Is this possible?

Thanks for any help.

Is there a C++ language question here I'm not seeing? Wouldn't questions
on a _product_ better be addressed to its creators/support/maintenance?
There is a web site for it, you know, http://logging.apache.org/log4cxx/
