c++ for real programmers

Hello, All.

It may seem a strange question, but what I need is an original English
quotation from "C++ For Real Programmers" by Jeff Alger.

These couple of sentenses are about how "ugly C++ is and ... and when
you learn to understand and love ugliness, when you stop worrying about
mathematical correctness, it will be your first step towards your
elegance in C++"

I have this extract in Russian and the idea of the passage is this, but
I need the original text really. If any one could help me with it, I'd
really appriciate that.

You can send you replies to ru*********@mail.ru
And thank you in advance.

If that's by Herb Schildt, then DON'T READ IT!!!!

Read "Accelerated C++" by Koenig and Moo.
