Serial Number evc

I am writting an application in embedded visual c++. I need to access
the serial number from a Itronix fex21 device running Windows Handheld
pc 2000. Does anyone know if the serial number is stored in the
registry somewhere? or if there is a API available to gather this
information.

regards
Clive

I'm programming C++ while sitting on a Comfortage 025 Steno Chair. How do I
adjust the chair's height?

Your question is about some obscure API, not C++. For best results, post
this to the forums that support this Itronix FEX21 gadget.

1) Go to http://www.itronix.com/product_support/downloads.asp
2) Select "FEX21" for your model
3) Download the FEX 21 API Developer Library
4) Use the function ISISAPI BOOL APIENTRY nvramGetSerialNumber(TCHAR
*szStr);

I haven't tried this and don't know if it works. But that would be my
best guess.
