Generic state space search library

Hello all,

I have recently completed work on a generic implementation of a state space
search library (standard C++ only). I have also written a toy client
application - the classic 8 puzzle - to test and demonstrate it. To anybody
so inclined, I would like to request a review of this library, available at
the following location:

http://www.theese.com/c++/state_space_search.zip

All constructive comments are welcome, but in particular, I am interested in
comments about the techniques, design and generic nature of the library
itself (in files search.h and search.inl). All other files (including the
simplistic generic hash table) are part of the sample client application.
And of course, if any bugs should be found, I especially would like to hear
about that!

Thanks in advance,
Dave
