Microsoft Visual C ++ Runtime library Runtime Error?

1 New Member
Often when I am typing a private message on facebook and i have been typing for a while this "runtime error" happens and closes my program.

The message that comes up is titled:
Microsoft Visual C ++ Runtime library

and in the body of the message it says:
Runtime Error!
Program: c:\programfile (x86)\Mozilla Firefox\firefox .exe

This application has requested the Runtime to terminate it in an unusual way.
Please contact the application's support team for more information.

I was wondering if anyone could tell me what I should do.
I would be ever so obliged!

What it says contact the applications support team, try the FireFox support forums http://forums.mozillazine.org/viewforum.php?f=38

Actually it might be worth trying a clean install of Firefox, especially if you use a lot of Add-Ons.

Hello all. First off, I am not a programmer so this question is not related to a problem that I created myself. I am not quite sure what is going on, but I do know that C++ is screwing up. Now I am not sure on what exactly triggers the error, but when I try to install some programs on my computer and use them or visit certain websites, Firefox will throw an error. Here is what the error box is telling me: Assertion failed! Program:...

Hello folks, I am unable to find appropriate documentation on the type promotion of bit-fields when using the generalised comparison operator "<=>". The problem is that using the GNU compilers, it seems that the internal comparison operator "<=>" tries to promote arguments from unsigned to signed. This is as boiled down as I can make it. Here is my compilation command: g++-12 -std=c++20 -Wnarrowing bit_field.cpp Here is the code in...

Overview: Windows 11 and 10 have less user interface control over operating system update behaviour than previous versions of Windows. For most users, this new feature is actually very convenient. If you want to control the update process,...
