Anyone can explain the meaning of following info

Why the version information is different
the first one is compiled by me.
the second one is from redhat

[root@res-wb1-a root]# ldd -v syslogd.bin.str ipe
libc.so.6 =/lib/tls/libc.so.6 (0x00407000)
/lib/ld-linux.so.2 =/lib/ld-linux.so.2 (0x00391000)

Version information:
./syslogd.bin.str ipe:
libc.so.6 (GLIBC_2.3) =/lib/tls/libc.so.6
libc.so.6 (GLIBC_2.1.3) =/lib/tls/libc.so.6
libc.so.6 (GLIBC_2.1) =/lib/tls/libc.so.6
libc.so.6 (GLIBC_2.0) =/lib/tls/libc.so.6
ld-linux.so.2 (GLIBC_2.3) =/lib/ld-linux.so.2
ld-linux.so.2 (GLIBC_2.1) =/lib/ld-linux.so.2

I guess that you want something in the news:comp.os.li nux hierarchy.
