How to stop/start class manually

I'm creating a game and I want some classes to stop functioning or make them start when i want to not when I start the game..
Like when the player click on start\play the (player,background... ) classes start work and when Game_Over some classes stop

You should look into using Tread class and/or the BackgroundWorker class.
