Just a little concerened . . .

CodeNoobster
So I'm developing a desktop application and I will be using just over 14 tab controls with several buttons and text boxes placed on each and all the tab controls are on a single form, the intended user is computer illiterate so I have to make the system as user friendly as possible.

My concern is that does this pose any threat to the user in terms of so many tab controls being used on a single form? will that single form be too demanding for the user's system?

the only demanding processes the app will be performing will be interactions with a database and generating reports.

14 is a lot of tabs - would it be possible to break the application down to use several forms each with their own tabs

if you have many tabs you can set the multiline property so they are all visible in multuple rows rather than having the scrool bars to move along the tabs

lol I must admit that that idea was a bit insane, I had actually redesigned the interface have implemented a much simpler design that isn't so demanding. thank you for advice and input horace1
