Save doesn't work for bound controls on VS C# form?

I created a simple data-bound DataGridView in Visual Studio form in C# by dragging and dropping a data table. When I run the form, the grid displays the data. But when I make a change in the data and click the Save button on the Navigation bar, the changes doesn't get saved.
The same thing happens when data is displayed in TextBoxes using the Details mode. Any help would be appreciated.
