Windows Service not able to access network folder

Hi,

I have a windows service that copies files from a network folder to another folder . Please also note we do have Domain controller in my environment.
But I get the error as
" at System.IO.__Error.WinIOError(Int32 errorCode, String maybeFullPath) at System.IO.Directory.InternalCreateDirectory(String fullPath, String path, DirectorySecurity dirSecurity) at System.IO.Directory.CreateDirectory(String path, DirectorySecurity directorySecurity) at System.IO.Directory.CreateDirectory(String path) at AutoFolderBackupWinService.AutoFolderBackupService .CopySourceToDestination()"

But if I do the above in a windows application I am able to copy the files perfectly but not in windows service .

Please give me some help....

Are you trying to run the service while logged on or logged off? Maybe you need to change the account that the service uses to an administrative account/domain admin account, as the account accessing the network share is the one that needs permissions. So when you run it as a windows app, it's using your domain credentials.
