AddRange of List<FileInfo> to a ListViewItem listview control

Thought this:

listView1.Items.AddRange(
(ListViewItem[])files.ToArray(typeof(ListViewItem)));

Might work; obviously as I'm posting here, it doesn't.

Any help would be greatly appreciated.
