How to make button keys work with timers?

Aisuru

Hi, I'm a student currently developing a little solo project, since I'm not good at animations and what not, I made a action sequence or trying to make one, I got the timers right now, the only problem is I don't know how to, for example:

private void Landing_Tick(object sender, EventArgs e)
{
(this is my timer, when it reachs the interval, it will pause the video and the only way for me to continue the sequence is by pressing space bar or up arrow while using an if function)

}

However I can't get it to work, since I don't know how keys work for forms. when the key is pressed I want it to play the next sequence or play it again.
