calculate no of leaves from database until selected month

I have kept a month in the dropdownlist suppose if i selects any month i should get total number of leaves until that selected month.

I have no idea what you're talking. What's a leave? How is this leave stored? What do you mean you keep a month in a drop down list? What about year?
