Hi,

Please let me know if they are any APIs or any other methods by which i can check if the system has entered idle state or not?

The system is always partially idle. Look in the task manager at the "system idle process"
Also, if you're doing work to see if the system is idle...then it is not idle.

What do you mean by entered an idle state? Does that mean the computer has gone into sleep or hibernate mode or does it just mean that the user hasn't typed anything on the keyboard or moved the mouse recently?
