C# How To Use Handshaking / Flow Control With Basic Stamp 2

Tyler Wiebe
I would like to know how to connect a Basic Stamp 2 to my serial port and how to use it's flow control function and C# handshaking (I believe that's what it is) function to communicate nicely so I don't lose data on transfer of more then one character.

Ex. Let's say I send "255" to the Basic Stamp from my C# application, most of the time it receives it, but sometimes it only receives the 2.

Implement XOn/XOff (in software - on behalf of the Windows side by calling the appropriate Port methods, on behalf of the Basic Stamp it depends), hardware RTS/CTS or both!
