What's a good microcontroller for C#

Tyler Wiebe
I'm just wondering, what is a good microcontroller that I can fool around with? The reason I said a good microcontroller for C# is because, I'd like one that I can control with C# by sending it commands.

I currently got a free Basic Stamp 2, but I don't find it fast enough, and I'd like a microcontroller that can multitask, unlike the Basic Stamp. So any suggestions you've got, I'd like to hear them.

Depends on what you mean by "control", a lot of simple microcontrollers can be manipualted via a comport, or if they have a tcp/ip stack, by using telnet.
I think the people at SparkFun make a lot of "kits" for people to play with, you might something from them?

Any microcontroller is good enough for multitasking - this depends on the software you write. And for fooling around you need no microcontroller at all!
If you are looking for a powerhouse try the ARM architecture controllers.
