How to generate a dynamic sitemap for website?

Friends,

I wanted to make a sitemap page which is dynamic. All my site's pages are in a table called Pages, which is having a pageid/pagetype as the key.
I went through different search result, but couldnt find a proper guidance.
I am confused, if it is dynamic, how will the web.sitemap will generate.
Can anyone please guide me on this? I am new to development.

Thanks all
