How to run an exe file of a vc# .net 2008 on other computers without getting an error

I have written a program using visual c# windows Forms Application. the exe file (which is stored automaticaly at bin\debug) runs on my computer perfectly, but when I copy the .exe file in to another xp computer and run it I give an error message: "the application failed to initilize properly(0x0000135),Click ok to terminate the application."
I installed .net framework 3,5 and c++ redistributable on xp computer but it doesn't make any change. what should I do to make such an exe file executable on every type of os??

Well that is 2 different questions, it sounds like you need to make sure the versions of .NET your program uses are installed, not just 3.5. You could try making an installer project and let it sort out the references for you.

As for making an exe for every OS, that is a much bigger question. Look up mono and other cross platform c# stuff.

Create a setup and deployment project or use the Clickonce installer to install the application. Any required prerequisites will be included in the install and this should solve your problem
