can't enter data to database

1
Hello folks,

i have create a Windows Forms application in Visual C#.NET 2010 using VS 2010 and used MS Access 2007 as backend database. later on i have ceated a .msi using InstallShield LE. when application is installed on target computer and try to create employee using Create New Employee Form it displays the error on click save button

'use UPDATE to create record'

and when i open the access database packaged with application it opens read-only. Access file is password protected also and right parameters being used in OleDbConnection() method to connect.

Anyone with solution to the problem ? I'd be thankful :)

Is it possible that this issue is caused by your installation routine or by the system it is installed on?
Did it work correctly on your own (development) system?
What target system do you use and where is your access database located.

Did you check the security options/permissions of the access-database-file? Try giving full permissions to user "everyone" and look if the behavior changes.
