DataTable vs DataRow array

What is the benefit of creating DataTable over array of DataRow and vice versa?

Well a DataTable has some added functions...
Column control comes from the DataTable,
Exporting/Importing to/from XML files,
The Select() function (which in fact returns a DataRow[])

Really up to personal preference I would think?
